The construction of the model does not follow full size practice, but is intended to be an easily built, attractive and hard working model for use in sheltered lakes or swimming pools.

The kit contains one full sized dimensioned drawing, an instruction manual, several colour photo illustrations of various parts of the construction, a diagrammatic layout, (not to scale), of the pre-cut sheets of wood and styrene for identification.

The hull is a fibreglass moulding. The keel is constructed from three pre-cut layers of 3 mm beech with three layers of pre-cut pear at the stem. The interior planking is from 1.5mm pre-cut styrene sheet. The ribs and risings are in styrene strip. The gratings are assembled from 3.5mm x 3.5mm pre-cut beech. The decks and bottom boards are cut from 1.5mm lime.

Various sizes of pear, lime and spruce strip are provided. The fairleads and skeg are brass castings. The bitts are pre-machined from beech. The rudder gudgeons and pintles are machined brass. Stainless steel bolts and washers and brass ferrules are provided.

The steam plant is supplied fully assembled and ready to install. The boiler is of all copper hard soldered construction, hydraulically and steam tested. The gas tank is also hydraulically tested.

The Anton ‘Quartz’ engine is a twin cylinder, double acting piston valve unit of 8mm bore x 9mm stroke. It requires one servo for forward, reverse and throttle.

The Typhoon Motors ‘TM1’ is a single cylinder double acting unit, 12mm bore x 10mm stroke. It is fitted with a reversing lever and requires one servo for forward, reverse and throttle.

Glue, paint and varnish are not included, nor the Radio Control.

‘HENRY’  is a 1/6th scale model of a typical clinker built, powered working dinghy of 15ft  6 inches length, used for small vessel harbour towage, as a tender to larger vessels at anchor, or for pleasure.
